When The End's In Mind

Welcome to 'When The End's In Mind'

This is a ‘space’ that intends to be a really useful resource for all of you.

Maybe, you’re supporting a loved one at the end of their life, or perhaps you’re coping with a life limiting diagnosis yourself . . . or it could be that you find yourself navigating your way own through the depths of grief and loss.

Whatever has brought you to this page, please know that you are so very welcome.

I know from my own personal experience . . . along with the countless (though not faceless) individuals that I’ve supported throughout my entire career that, whenever death is ‘on the table’ it can, absolutely, turn your world upside down.

I’ve been in an incredibly privileged position of being there for and guiding these individuals, couples and families as they’ve navigated the turmoil and fallout that can occur at this time.
And, whenever (and however) it happens, the death of a loved one, a family member, friend or someone you know will always stop you in your tracks.

And this can be discombobulating and isolating.

Yet within this numbness, there’s an expectation that you will be able to function.

To consider all the choices you have available to you.
Make plans.
And make important decisions.

When, actually, all you want to do is anything but that

So, here you will find a (growing) collection of information that will always be presented in a simple,
‘not to overload you’ sort of way.

About Annie

Hello!

With an extensive career supporting people through change, the opportunity to create and deliver a Farewell Ceremony for my Mum, led me to train as a Funeral Celebrant.

I now work alongside families to create unique and compassionate ceremonies for their loved ones as well as, in addition, organising events to promote and normalise conversations around dying and death through my work which sits under the umbrella of ‘When The End’s in Mind’
