Hello and Welcome

I can only imagine that if you’re reading these words it’s, probably, because your world has been shattered through the loss of a loved one.

So, I’d like to begin by offering my deepest condolences along with a huge ‘virtual’ hug ♡

I have a little bit of an understanding of how you might be feeling since I lost my Mum a few years ago.

Her death was not unexpected.

Yet . . . it left me reeling and totally daunted by all of those ‘have to do’s’ that are necessary after somebody passes.

I was fortunate to have been supported and guided by a gem of a Funeral Arranger at the time.
She encouraged me to create and lead, what was, a truly memorable ceremony for Mum.

Following this, I began my own personal journey of discovery gaining a role within a funeral directors as well as taking the opportunity to train as a Funeral Celebrant.

And now, by weaving all of this into the varied experiences I’ve gained throughout my lifetime’s work, I am able to offer you the support and guidance that you might be looking for or needing at this time.

Hello, I’m Annie Barber

And, as I reflect back over a rich and varied career, I know that I have been so fortunate to have worked in a number of roles.

Whatever and wherever these have been, the core essence of my work has always been in my desire and ability to support people and their families through pivotal, life changing moments.

And this, most definitely, continues in my work as a Funeral Celebrant

Handmade ‘Farewell Ceremony’ Gifts & Favours

Sometimes, the day of a ceremony can go by in a ‘bit of a blur’ . . . and so it’s always been my ‘thing’ to gift my families a reminder of the service.

For them to keep and revisit - if they so wish.
And it is always my pleasure to do so.

And I’d like to extend the offer to you too.

So, if you’d like to have bespoke memorial seed packets, orders of service or have the words of the service created into a memorial booklet, pop me an email and I’ll get designing!

About Annie

Hello!

With an extensive career supporting people through change, the opportunity to create and deliver a Farewell Ceremony for my Mum, led me to train as a Funeral Celebrant.

I now work alongside families to create unique and compassionate ceremonies for their loved ones as well as, in addition, organising events to promote and normalise conversations around dying and death through my work which sits under the umbrella of ‘When The End’s in Mind’
